Of course dont put strange fx on to the master unless theres nothing playing, but if youre testing stuff like this its fine. If you getting fx to work there then i theres no problem with your fx but then i think you havent assigned a channel for the mic to put fx on; im not sure i havent played around with microphones and fruity loops I just want to find some things out:
