MPC500 vs. microKORG?
I'm currently using cubase 5 with a ton of vst plugs and I'm looking into buying something hardware wise to help out with production. I need help in deciding which piece of hardware to buy first. Also if it helps I'm doing hip hop and country..., odd combo huh yeah well also if you think i should choose something other than the two items i have listed please don't hesitate to suggest anything under $1,000

Controlling Softube Acoustic Feedback with MIDI in Cubase 5

I just want to find some things out:
- When you speak into the mic normally, does the VU light up in 1 of the channels of the mixer?
- Have you tried putting fx on the master out? Of course dont put strange fx on to the master unless theres nothing playing, but if youre testing stuff like this its fine. If you getting fx to work there then i theres no problem with your fx but then i think you havent assigned a channel for the mic to put fx on; im not sure i havent played around with microphones and fruity loops
