Waves Transform
Is there a way to convert the frequencies picked up in a guitar pickup to record a MIDI track?
I realized that there are hardware options, but it seems like there might be a software option, as well. After all, the software would covert sound waves to digital signatures. In a sense, MIDI would be ultra-low-fidelity recording. I'm sure that software is available to transform specific harmonious patterns and break them up into individual notes. I'm wonder if this can be done real-time. Anyone know of any software that does this?
I googled "audio to midi" and I found some websites. It probably will work to a point. The software would have to convert the guitar sound to a digital control signal that represents a note - that may work well for simple guitar sounds.

If it absorbs all light that strikes it, then you certainly can't see through it. No light will be reflected from it either so it will be black. And the energy it absorbs from the light will act to heat the object up.
