How to mod a PS2 Slim line?
My PS2 Slimline's model is: SCPH-79001. I want to be able to play my backups/burned games without having to swap discs(swamp magic or any other swap tricks).
My materials:
1 PS2 Slimline
1 8MB Memory Card(Don't know how much space it has currently)
Alot of usb flash drives
1 Memory Stick
And thats about it. Could someone help direct me into modding my console with those items?
Also, no modchips either.
No modchip, no hardware modding!
So you need modchip to do it.

ADSL USB didn't by pass Windows Logo?
I tried installing ADSL USB Aztech Modem but it didn't by pass the Windows Logo, I continue with the installation, I did manage to log into the internet but with much regrets, Virus..Trojan keep on swamping into my PC. What's wrong?
The Windows Logo test is just a way to certify, that the driver for this modem was certified and tested by Microsoft, which costs a lot of money.
To keep the prices reasonable, some hardware manufacturers don't certify for a Windows Logo test. However through internal testing, they know their product works with Windows.
Your problem with getting Viruses and trojans cannot be solved by this Logo Test.
To solve your virus infestation:
Get a good virus scanner. A free (and good) scanner is provided at the link below.
Make sure you only have one Virus scanner installed at one time.
Keep your Windows up to date by visiting http://update.microsoft.com
There are a some programming errors in windows, that got found after Windows was shipped, and these Updates repair these security holes.
Only go online as a User *without* administrative privileges.
Create a new User called e.g. "Surfer", that has a restricted user account via Start-->Control Panel-->User accounts.
After creating this user (make sure he has restricted user rights) log off and log on with your new Surfer account.
Then go on line.
You cannot install software with this account, but neither can Spyware and Viruses install themselves while you surf as a restricted user.
To keep safe in the future remember these simple steps:
1: Use an up to date Virus scanner.
2: Keep your Windows up to date.
3: As long as you can do everything in Windows, so can Viruses and other malicious software do everything. Restrict your rights while being on line, and you restrict malicious software to do any harm.
