Do you know how to rebuild a motor? IF not, that is going to cost you some bucks. This is NOT a project for someone who knows little about small engines. $200 may be a fair deal if you are capable of doing all the work yourself or if your uncle is going to help you. But if you don't know much about motorcycle mechanics, do yourself a favor and save up for something already operational. For $1000 you could get something already running around my parts. This machine is going to cost you more than that just to make operational again.

Are cd/ dvd repair kits that does the job successfully?
Are there any ones that do the job? I remember buying one from Game and it was rubbish; the cleaning pads kept on getting twisted when I turned the handle. I have tried wet cd cleaning cloths and they did nothing either.
Yeah, I've tried a few of them and they're rubbish. They only repair very light scratches... which, given the fact that those don't affect the disk anyway, I don't see the point! lol
