What software can I use to make a video tutorial?
I want to kow what software I can use to make a video tutorial on my computer. One that will capture the image right from my desktop as I type or click around or do what ever. Ok, let me know, thanks.
I love Captivate for this kind of work. I found it very easy to learn; I was able to create at least a rough demo and practice exercise in a short time. It automatically takes screenshots of your actions and will take full-motion video for actions like dragging and dropping. It also can create captions and directions automatically.

Is a software video tutorial considered copyright infringement?
I am thinking of doing video tutorials on youtube to show people how to use different software but I'm not sure if it could be taken down because I would be showing the software on the video.
If things go well, I would like to apply to the partner program and see if I have luck.

Check out youtube and you will see many doing as you propose to do.
A good keyword to use to search youtube for such videos is "Professor Teaches".
Without the quotation marks, of course.
