Studio Clinic I need advice about Dance Team Tryouts?
I am trying out for a dance team and I am really nervous. (High school) It is only the first day of the clinic, but I have never been studio trained. I have alot of natural ability though. The coach said there is no limit of spots, as long as you are good. I have alot of technique (leaps, splits, etc.) and I am sort of getting the dance down. The coach said good things about me to a different Mom who didn't know me. In your opinion, do you think I will make the team? And how do I become less nervous?? Thank you so much God Bless you!
Well first of all. Be Confident. Yes your going up against girls who have been studio trained but the coach will noticed your effort and your drive and your passion for dance. It comes across during your dance. His talking to another mom about you is a very good sign. For the nervousness part , just think that they panel of judges WANT you to do well. Although performing infront of people can be nervous your drive and passion for dance will push your through it GOOD LUCK !

Studio Classic the most protagonists were confused in the most british Hammer classic horror & italian classic horror Giallo?
but what is the contrast between the british Hammer Horror studio and the italian classic horror giallo?
Don't think I can beat TL's answer here, both sub-genres have their own great movies, giallo is probably more under-appreciated and misunderstood though - since the BBFC has starting relaxing its ratings policies I've been able to get my hands on some uncut Italian horror classics for the first time and I have to say they are more memorable and satisfying than the Hammer ones, it really depends on if you have to watch them in the company of any of those strange people who say there's no need for gore in horror. I reckon we could see a serious resurgence of Euro-horror in the next couple of years (with the likes of Haute Tension, Frontiere(s) and Rec), it's about time someone put a stop to that Japanese Horror trend (is it really that scary being confronted with a slow-talking pale-faced Japanese child who disappears when you look away? That's all that happens in any of them!
