Tutorial Bundle Why can't I access the guitar and drum tutorials on Rock Band 2?
I got Rock Band 2 but I can't seem to get to the tutorials for the guitar or the drum set? I got the special edition bundle set but the only thing that seems to work is the microphone and the vocals part of the game. I'm a complete neophyte for any and all types of Rock Band/Guitar Hero games. I don't know what I'm overlooking. Any and all assistance on what I need to get this started would be greatly appreciated.
Check your wireless dongles. The game should have included 2 wireless dongles (1 for the drums, 1 for the guitar).
Also make sure that you do not reassign controllers from within Rock Band 2. If you want to, say make the Sixaxis 1, the Guitar 2, and the Drums 3, quit the game, insert the dongles, turn on the instruments, make sure their connected by pressing the connect buttons on the dongles and instruments, and reassign them from there.
Check your batteries. (Stupid advice, I know)
Go to the Rock Band website and ask them.
Have a friend bring their Rock Band 2 guitar and dongle to be sure the problem is with the instruments, not an error on the game disc.

I was reading somewhere, there is a guy on ebay selling information on how to get a free hard-drive from Microsoft, by telling them you have a broken one, and requesting a new one. It said you need a warranty on the xbox, but I have had my Xbox 360 Arcade bundle for 1 and a half years, and don't have the box anymore anyway.
Can someone please tell me a step by step tutorial on how to do this?
And please, Can someone PM me their warranty details or whatever you need?
I know it's a lot to ask, but I'm only 14, so don't have the money for a hard-drive (I spent the next two weeks pocket money paying off late fees for xbox games at the video store XD).
Or is there any good website where I can complete offers to earn points for a hard drive? I did one once, but never recieved my prize.
Look, you can't get a free hard drive from Microsoft unless you have a broken one in the first place. If there is a guide on ebay how to do it, then I can assure you that Microsoft has either purchased this or figured out the loophole, if there was any. There is no possible way of doing this, short of stealing. Microsoft always requires that the accessory be sent to them before a new accessory is shipped back.
Audio Interface Unit Best Single DIN GPS/DVD Head Unit?
My 2003 mustang was just totaled in an accident. It had a Kenwood DNX5140 system installed in it. I loved the system, but we were forced to take the money for it because my new car only has a SINGLE DIN. It is a 1999 ford mustang gt convertible with mach audio system.
I was wondering which single DIN head units were the best for gps and dvd in reliability, sound, interface, and looks. I want it to look nice, have a nice interface, sound great, and be reliable to stay intact. I also wish to control my iPhone from it. I realize that with a single DIN I need a flip up unit, so which are reliable to not break? my last one was a double DIN.
Price range is pretty much anything below $1,000, preferably around $600-700 so we have money for installation.

Where do I tie in the remote wire when adding an amp and subs to a 2008 Ford Fusion?
I purchased an audio interface from PAC, which goes in between the factory head unit and factory wiring harness, allowing you to tie into it. The only thing that doesn't work right is the remote turn on wire, the one that tells the amp to turn on. I have a good ground and good power, but for some reason the voltage drops on the remote wire, and it isn't enough to activate the amp. I've read on Fusion forums that you can tie into the fuse box, but none of the listings specify where exactly. Does anybody out there have any experience with this? Also, I'm not a total idiot when it comes to this stuff, so please don't treat me as though I am. Sorry, but I've gotten that kind of response before, and I don't understand why people can't just help you without being condescending. So thanks to anyone who can help me with this in a polite manner!

You can just add a length of really small wire back to the amp from the Battery.
Making sure you have a fuseblock/VERY small fuse, and a switch to shut it on and off.

your Jackson will do nicely. the equipment you use for recording process is really where the difference is. Are you going to a studio? Home recording? If home recording, make sure you're using a good program/interface for PC or a good board. The mics you use will color the sound, so minimally get a shure57 unless your amp has a killer line out (most dont untill you get up to the $1000 range)

Recording Your Guitar At Home
What is the best software for recording guitar and/or transcribing guitar?
I play guitar and I want to be able to enter musical notes and have them play back. I'd also like to be able to record guitar. Ideally I'd like to be able to play my guitar and have the notes written automatically by the software program but I'm not sure if that is possible. Is there a program that does this and what kind of equipment would I need?
For basic audio recording, any recording software will work. All depends on how many tracks, effect and features you want or need.
An audio interface will give you better signal and they usually come with free software. More info here:

As for recording actually notes ( Notation), you would need a Midi guitar interface with a pickup. The software would be Sibelius, Notion or Finale. More details here:

If you have the money I'd wait for the 80G bundle. I have the 60g & I'm constantly moving stuff I've downloaded (mostly videos) from the PS3 to my PC. Granted I'm a packrat even in the virtual sense so I like to keep everything. I've downloaded & kept almost all the demos & all the free videos & even the free content for games I don't own....just in case they make them not free anymore after I buy the game lol, yeah I'm a loser....anyway, if you can wait, wait. If not, you can always get an external harddrive that connects to your PS3 to store all your crap in. & yeah, that other guy is right, the 40g is NOT backwards compatible so be warned!
Oh & the 480 720 thing, it really depends on your TV & what you like. I have mine set on 1080p (very nice & teeny tiny everything) & one time it got switched back to 480 I think & I hated the way Virtua Fighter would play (the camera kept moving around too much). But it's the only game I noticed any difference on. It's just personal preference basically.
