Where can I get an audio course on a native american language.?
Or a language class in the nyc area. Or an online corse or something. Ojibway, Navajo, anything.
Ojibway and other languages might be easy to learn. But it is said if you didn't grow up speaking Navajo, you'll never learn it.
For instance the Navajo name for Shiprock is Tse' Bit' A'i. Each one of those apostrophies is a glottal stop. The Navajo language is full of them.
Learning Navajo will take many years of intensive study.

Does anyone know of any American DVD releases that have a German audio option?
I'm learning German and think it would be helpful to watch a movie in German. I have hundreds of DVD's and all of them only have english, french, or spanish audio tracks. Does anyone know of a DVD release off hand that has a German audio option?
Some Anime have German as an option...
Honestly, I would just go to Blockbuster and check the backs of every movie you would want to watch and see what they say.
Off hand, I can't really think of any with that option...
OH! You can download .srt Subtitle Files to go with reencoded DVD's (DVD 2 .avi)
Just google "srt German" and the name of a movie you have.
You can get info on how to reencode your DVD's and match them with .srt subtitle files at http://www.videohelp.com
