The Propellerhead Mpd32 can't be read on propellerhead reason 5?
I cant play my mpd on reason 5, when i go on preferences, keyboards and control surfaces it won't auto-detect and if i try to add it by clicking other as manufacturer and midi control surface as model it won't let me type in the name or midi input.
im using windows 7 and i do just plug it in the usb port cause its always worked like that it just stopped working
Come on, how do you expect anybody to answer this properly if you won't even tell us if you're using Mac or Windows? And what version of MacOS or Windows, and what you're using for a MIDI interface (assuming you're not just plugging it into the USB port)? And do other MIDI controller devices send correctly through the interface/port, or is the Akai the only thing you own? Just bear in mind, it HAS to auto-detect - there's really no other way it will work.

Propellerhead Reason 5 Record 1.5 and Reason 5 with Alesis mixer?
Hi all. simple question.
I have the Propellerhead record 1.5 and reason 5.
I connected my Alesis MultiMix 4 USB to my Creative Labs PCI Express X-Fi Titanium Sound Card.
I can hear the music and everything was good until i wanted to record vocals. I connected the mic to the mixer pressed the phantom power and i can hear the vocals and its working but i dont see any signal in record 1.5. its just not recording.
Any ideas why? is it because its a usb mixer? i connected the main out to the speakers and the line3/4 to the sound card. and the mic.well...to the mic input

As long as your software is "seeing" the Alesis mixer, it should not matter. Whatever is coming out of the output, should come out the USB port. Make sure the Alesis mixer is selected as your input device in the software - not the computer's soundcard.
