Tutorial Bundle Why can't I access the guitar and drum tutorials on Rock Band 2?
I got Rock Band 2 but I can't seem to get to the tutorials for the guitar or the drum set? I got the special edition bundle set but the only thing that seems to work is the microphone and the vocals part of the game. I'm a complete neophyte for any and all types of Rock Band/Guitar Hero games. I don't know what I'm overlooking. Any and all assistance on what I need to get this started would be greatly appreciated.
Check your wireless dongles. The game should have included 2 wireless dongles (1 for the drums, 1 for the guitar).
Also make sure that you do not reassign controllers from within Rock Band 2. If you want to, say make the Sixaxis 1, the Guitar 2, and the Drums 3, quit the game, insert the dongles, turn on the instruments, make sure their connected by pressing the connect buttons on the dongles and instruments, and reassign them from there.
Check your batteries. (Stupid advice, I know)
Go to the Rock Band website and ask them.
Have a friend bring their Rock Band 2 guitar and dongle to be sure the problem is with the instruments, not an error on the game disc.
I was reading somewhere, there is a guy on ebay selling information on how to get a free hard-drive from Microsoft, by telling them you have a broken one, and requesting a new one. It said you need a warranty on the xbox, but I have had my Xbox 360 Arcade bundle for 1 and a half years, and don't have the box anymore anyway.
Can someone please tell me a step by step tutorial on how to do this?
And please, Can someone PM me their warranty details or whatever you need?
I know it's a lot to ask, but I'm only 14, so don't have the money for a hard-drive (I spent the next two weeks pocket money paying off late fees for xbox games at the video store XD).
Or is there any good website where I can complete offers to earn points for a hard drive? I did one once, but never recieved my prize.
Look, you can't get a free hard drive from Microsoft unless you have a broken one in the first place. If there is a guide on ebay how to do it, then I can assure you that Microsoft has either purchased this or figured out the loophole, if there was any. There is no possible way of doing this, short of stealing. Microsoft always requires that the accessory be sent to them before a new accessory is shipped back.
Complete Computer Why does it take so long to complete computer graphic jobs?
Does it take everyone a long time to complete computer graphic jobs in Flash, Photoshp, Dreamweaver and InDesign? Why are some people faster than others?
Hmmm, perhaps they have more experience levels than others. Or perhaps they aren't really 'designers' but claim to be like SOOOO many people out there. Check their background education and credentials and always ask to see their portfolio before proceeding. ALSO as a client to the designer, YOU are required to understand that they are the ones that have to brainstorm creative ideas for to make YOU and YOUR work look good and be effective. Also, clients tend to forget that many jobs take so long because a client has SO many changes on the job and it takes time to make certain changes. Designers do the clients the work for them, so most clients should but do not understand that while they are sitting back waiting, their designer is working hard for them.
How can i connect one computer to a distant computer,so that complete information in one is accesible to other
I am into business and want to know connect the computer at home and at my office via internet(i don't wanna do anything that is costly).I have heard that there is a software(free) by which i can connect both computers such that the complete desktop of one computer is available on other,even though computers are kilometers away and cannot be joined through LAN.This is done via Internet only and no other mode of connection is used.IS this really possible if yes please tell me how?
yes, it possible for free.....the only 2 requirements are the following.....you must be running windows xp pro, windows 2000 pro or windows vista and have internet on both computers..... basically you have to open the port on the end computer which is something that you need to do yourself depending if you have a firewall/ router....and open a program that is in your computer already called Remote Desktop which is under accessories or under communications depending on the computer you have. on the computer you are going to log-on from all you need to do is type the ip address of the computer you are log-in into .....you can find out the ip by going into ipchicken.com ......then it will ask you for a user name and password..this should be the ones that you use when you log in in the end computer...once you are log-in it will lock the computer down so no one can see the screen that you are looking at.. let me know if this helps.....i can also do set it up for you for a small amount let me know if this helps.

Effects Library What are some objects that accidentally set off the library book alarm?
I frequently see people who aren't carrying anything set off the security gates at the library where I work. What is causing the problem? I've heard that magnets or watches can sometimes to do this. But why don't all magnets or all watches have this effect?
It is not easy to answer because it depends on the type of alarm system used.
The most popular system is sending a low power radio frequency and search for "something" that will be a tuned circuit for that freqency.
a Tuned circuit is typically a (small) piece of metal where one part behaves like a coil (it can be a long piece of wire more or less folded)
and a capacitor (i.e. two pieces of metal with an insulator between them)
Theoretically, it is very unprobable to find an object that will exactly have the right shape to trigger the alarm. I suspect this alarm sytem need some tuning to reduce its sensitivity.
