I recently got both an Audix i5 microphone and a Presonus AudioBox USB to record music. This is my second attempt to try to get results.
I have installed Presonus's Studio One software, and it recognizes the AudioBox. However, whenever I create a new song and attempt to record, no audio is picked up. The sound bars don't move at all, and there is no sound when I play it back. Everything seems to be connected, but having never done anything like this before, I am not completely sure how to configure the input/output (though I have it right as far as I can tell). Is there anything I may be doing wrong?
The manual that came with the AudioBox is very vague and not helpful, I've gone through it multiple times and I can't find out what I'm doing wrong!
you need to contact their tech support i look at the set up and i see it is not easy.

I'm new to recording. I use garage band as my software and an audiobox usb audio interface to plug into my mac. I have a gibson les paul studio and i use a line6 podxt live for my effects/distortion/amp models and what not. When i record my guitar, it usually doesnt sound the way I want it to. It doesnt sound full and complete. In fact it sounds pretty weak. Is it my tone thats the problem or is it my equipment
A good way around this is to use a mic instead of going direct to the USB interface. Connect a mic to the XLR mic input on the interface and use that to mic your amp:

Put the mic right in front of the amp - you'll probably get a more real sounding recording.
