Cubase AI4 help please?
I just downloaded Cubase AI4 with a Yamaha AudioGram 3. Trying to record from my keyboard at home. So, I am connected via 2 patch chords into the second channel of the AudioGram so I can get stereo sound. I followed the 8 pages of the Cubase booklet, and then tried to record something. No luck. I tried adding an instrument track as well as a MIDI track, but it doesn't work. Then, I tried to use my speakers on my computer, and I now have no sound, even when the AudioGram isn't plugged in. I've tried forums, but don't honestly know what most of the terms mean. This is all brand new to me. Anyone have any suggestions? Either with the actual recording or just getting my sound back?
Hmm. Maybe the file you downloaded was corrupted or it never fully completed the installation process. You could try downloading it again.
I'm not familiar with that specific program. I use GarageBand and Muse Score on my Macbook and they seem to work fine. If all else fails, I would recommend sending an email to the company asking for help. Sorry I couldn't do more you help you!

Cubase LE4. Help please?
So I've had this for a few months now and so far all I know how to do is record vocals. It is pretty confusing to me and it's about time I learn how to use it. Haha. So for now, what I'm wondering is can you MAKE music on it? I know that when I go to File->New Project->Cubase Synths On Instrument Tracks it takes me somewhere where I can choose from a variety of instruments..I just don't know how to get the sound of that instrument or how to put them together to make a song. Or is this not possible with this software? It is for recording ONLY? And for plugging in things like keyboards? Or can I make music without an actual instrument? So for all the questions, I'm just so lost. Thanks a lot!
