Padkontrol Pad How do you make a Just Blaze type of beat (sampled beat - sample based beat)?
I use FL Studio and a Korg Padkontrol (MIDI Controller). I know how to assign sounds to the pad and I chose a song to sample BUT I have no idea on how to do it. I know how to make beats (not pro but decent beats) but I have no idea on how to sample. I don't how to chop samples to make a Just Blaze type of song. PLEASE HELP!!.

The Korg Padkontrol or The MPD24? Don't answer unless you have used both pieces of equipment.. Give me your opinions about the pad sensitivity also. And don't say that they are both good... You have to pick ONE.
I found the Korg Padkontrol's sensitivity levels were higher, that's the one I'd go with.
BQ: should I get both the Korg Kaossilator Dynamic Phrase Synthesizer and the Korg MiniKP Dynamic Effects/Sampler? Can you tell me what each one does?

Ableton Padkontrol What's the best program for recording music with the Korg Padkontrol and Kaossilator?
So, I have the Korg Padkontrol and Kaossilator and am waiting on http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004I92T7Q to connect to the Kaossilator. I have connected the Padkontrol with Ableton 8.2.2 but it seems to be fairly limited. I tried flstudio 8 and had no idea why only one pad worked on it. Many people seem to have luck with Reason, and I can't find any program that works in junction with the "Editor Librarian" software that is used to assign pads. What is the best program for both of these devices to record music?
This is on windows 7 and yes it has some driver issues :/
If you're on a Mac, probably Logic will serve you the best. If you're on a PC, maybe Cuebase would be the best answer. I'm not all that familiar with the PadKontrol, but I'd assume it would work fine with both aforementioned software packages.
