Why do human rights organizations discourage the buy-out of African slaves by good-hearted Europeans and Americans?
a. It drives up the price of slaves and thus encourages the expansion of the slave trade.
b. The purchase of slaves is excluded from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
c. Slavery will contain the spread of AIDS better than African practices of polygamy.
d. Westerners hope to access the deposits of oil and gold in the African territories that accept slavery.
Mainly because you are paying people with bad intentions to continue a bad habit. Would you like it if the government started giving addicts money to buy and use drugs.

It's not fair. Some people can't afford a Mercedes-Benz (their friends all have Porsches, they must make amends). Shouldn't we have a new program to provide a Mercedes-Benz for everyone? What kind of greedy hatemongers would deny people their new sedans? What kind of selfish corporate slaves would argue that someone doesn't deserve a new sedan?

I have ordered three sample kits through them. I don't think there is anything wrong with ordering multiple kits. I mean, they want your service, especially if it is the right product. Then you'll keep buying from them.
Zip Samples How do I save a file from a zipped folder?
My prof sent me a bunch of sample songs in a zipped folder and I can open them but I want to save some of them to my computer. How do I do that without just having to keep the whole folder?
Open a window with the opened .zip file, then open a separate window with the file you want to save them in, then just click and drag over the files you want to keep into the file you want to save them in. If you want to save them to the desktop, just drag the files over to the desktop.
My work is on a 100 iomega zip disk (2001). Kinkos & Office Max both say the disk is not being recognized...?
I took it to Best Buy Geek Squad and they didn't have a zip drive to attempt to open it. It is the only vehicle where I have my writing samples saved so I'd like to find out if there is a way for me to retrieve my info from the disk. I called the iomega 800 number on the packaging and it is no longer in service. Thanks for any suggestions..
To the contributor below--that was not my question. I said I took it to Office Max and Kinkos and they put it in their ZIP Drive and the computer did not recognize the Zip Disk.
Dual Mono when installing multiple car amplifiers can you connec a mono amp to a regular 2 channel amplifier?
i would be running the 2 channel amp at 4 ohms, and the mono amp at one ohm??????? the 2 channel amp would power 6x9s and the mono amp would power one 4 ohm dual voice coil subwoofer. my mono amp only has one set of rc jacks, and the 2 channel amp has 2 sets of rc jacks.
the two channel amp will have two sets of plugs, one called in and the other called out. plug your head unit into the input, then run another lead from the output into the input of the second amp

The amp has four inputs for the sub connection.

need more info last time i checked there was no dual mono amps. mono meens just that 1 channel. now if your amp is a mono it will have either 2 connectors. or 4 that does not meen its dual mono. its for sub hook up ease. there is only 1 channel for mono amps. the hook up of the subs depends greatly on what ohm load your amp will do. say a 2 ohm load wire the subs parralel then tie them together at the amp should be a nice 1.85 amp load. hope this helps
Series Compact Do you know of a vampire series for teens that was published in the early 1990's?
In middle school (which was in the early-mid 1990's), I read part of a series about vampires and after reading the Twilight series, I remembered it and couldn't remember the name or the author. I never got the chance to read the entire series, and would like to do so, if I could figure out what it was. The series centered on a girl in high school. She happens to go to school with several male vampires. I remember the vampires can't be seen in mirrors because there is a part in the first book, where the girl is at her locker and is looking in her compact so that she can watch out for the guy she's interested in without being obvious and doesn't see him before he comes up to her. I think the vampires can go in the sun, but they where sunglasses (but I could be misremembering). There was a least 3 books in the series, probably more. Any help is much appreciated, thanks!
That was definitely the Vampire Diaries series by L. J. Smith. There is a TV show based on the books currently playing on the CW on Thursdays.
