CDs wont play in my car stereo?
I have a 2005 chevy equinox w/ a CD player. I have a ton of burnt CDs from over the past 6-7 years but they haver a hard time playing in my car. They play in my comp. all my stereos, and every other car ive tried them in (98 infiniti, 97 explorer, 02 explorer, 00 accord). They are a variety of brands and while some may be old and scratched even newly burnt ones dont play right. I have to put the CD in and out may times, it usually just says "check disk" and ejects it and other times it says something like " dsp transmittent error". I bought the car new and it has been doin this forever. Regular CDs seem to work perfectly in the car, but not burnt ones. I dont know if this matters but some of the songs on my comp were saved as AAC files and some as MP3 files, but like i said the CDs play in EVERY OTHER CD player ive tried. Can anyone provide insight as 2 what may be wrong and what may fix the problem. any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

There are several possibilities. Unfortunately with the car market trying to cut back on the cost of production of cars, I have noticed that the stereo systems get cheaper and more unreliable every year. A few possibilities are that certain players have a hard time reading certain brands of burnt discs. Sometimes you can put a Maxell burnt disc in and it wont play it, but then you can put a different brand of burnt disc in and it will play it. If you have mp3 discs, more than likely the player isnt equipped to read them. My honest professional opininon would be to scrap it and go out to a local car audio shop and get a new replacement for it. It is not worth the hassle and aggrivation that the factory deck will give you. You can get a good name brand head unit that is satellite ready, mp3 and wma capable, hd radio capable, with a higher power output for much less than it would cost to try to fool with the factory one. We carry some Kenwood models for $169 installed that do all of this. Hope this helps some. Live Loud!

What color is the Wilson n5 force?
I know it looks like its red and black and white... but that red color is very odd. I have heard it is a very good racket and I know it's an older model so I don't know if back then they made those colors more shiny if you know what I mean... Here are some pictures...

I am thinking about buying this racket but I dont want to buy it if its a weird red color. the red is kind of like a really shiny almost orange color its weird. if you have a wilson n5 force could you tell me how that red color looks like in person?
i think you might want to go to a store and see the red for real. i myself think this racquet has the coolest glossy and champagne sparkling dark red (missing bubbles though). it is more toward dark red instead of orange. and yes, do not buy a racquet because of its look, but the feature might also amazed you:
- wilson triad (separated frame and throat to minimize transfer of vibration)
- large powerholes to enable free string movement
- ncode material provide better frame strength
better yet (i think), try the KFive98 or KFive108. they are the improved version of the n5 Force series. the additional technology is the Konnector - suspended side grommet to further reduce frame vibration.
