My Jenn Air downdraft has a problem with the display panel.
The strength of the display lights slowly dimmed and are now
barely visible. The touch-pad controls work fine, but the indicator
lights are weak, including the clock. I think the Model # is SVE 47600.
It's a slide-in type. Thanks for any help you can render. I think I'm handy enough to replace the clock unit if that's the problem.
replace the Unit the lights are LEDs and go bad from age.

problems with the touch pad for VGN-CR506E/J - crocodile silver?
it was working well for a few minutes then the clicker below the touch pad doesn't respond though when you use the touch pad the curser moves... then i have to press control+alt+del then hit cancel to go back to the screen n it will work well again... then after a few more minutes it will do the same thing... any idea why is this happening? this is my 2nd unit, i returned the first one because of the same problem, am also thinking of returning it but just wondering why is this happening...
It is strange that both have the same problem. Try connecting an external mouse and then ( I am guessing you are using windows XP) right click my computer and go to devie manager. From here you will find an option for the touchpad. Right click this and go to uninstall and then confirm this and restart. Upon restart the laptop will find the latest driver. Unplug the mouse and try this.

How do you rip song vocals from a camera video?
without posting the video on youtube, how do you take vocals off a digital camera & put it on a disk? IN SHORT TIME.
If you want to digitize directly from your camera, hook it up into you computer's audio inputs. You must have some sort of audio recording software. You can download a program called Audacity for free. It will record and edit audio tracks and convert them to WAV, AVI, or MPEG files. Cool program.

ok this one should be relativley simple.. first answer back a few questions so i can give a better more useful answer ..if the file is a video file which i think it is based on the info u provided... and the video part wont play but it opens so as the au dio plays then its a missing codec you have to go look up the most recent video codec for your system and install it and see if that might work..hope ive helped a bit...d oes that work? does it give you an error message?

my software will only let me burn dvds with audio formats of ac3, wav, mp2, mpa, m2a?
which one should i use that would work on most anyones house....
ac3 only works as DDS (dolby digital surrond)
and the mp2 didnt work on my dvd player either.....
help!
You did not mention the name of the software.
If It is a dvd writing software. You could use another software that allows you to burn mp3 files, such as Nero burning rom. You may find freeware dvd burning software elsewhere on the net.
Industrial Ebm Why is it sooo hard to define industrial music?
Ive heard people say its music all the way from Lugi Russolo to Combichrist and TOOL. wtf? are people freaking retarded. This is just by asking some people who like music alot.
REAL Industrial music was an art movement, but today has been turned into complete monotone crap. People are also getting it confused with noise, coldwave, EBM, and electronic/industrial rock.
I know genres shouldnt matter, but ...........why cant people do some simple research instead of pissing me off.
Even calling NIN industrial is silly. Thier first album was probably the closest thing to EBM than anything else.
*chuckle* you have heard the jokes about trying to get 2 rivetheads to agree on what industrial music is right... you get 3 answers.
But I agree, the problem is that most of the industrial bands varied so much in their sounds that they made subgenres out of them... Think about it, how many bands have some of their songs that would be considered industrial and others that are in totally different genres. And people start looking at the bands that have some industrial songs and then start folding all their works and those "similiar" to their works under one umbrella.
Just like goth rock ended up doing, they had to make the subgenres. deathrock, darkwave and the like for goth rock... and about 30 different ones for industrial... annoying no?
And actually pretty hate machine from NIN would be industrial though it did have a more commercial format than most industrial, but after that Trent went more into EBM and industrial rock. (Mind you not on the same level of industrial as Laibach, Throbbing Gristle, Croc Shop, or Einstruzende Neubauten... but hey.)
