How do I edit out pen scribblings on scanned documents using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro?
I'm scanning a document (numerous pages) using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. On some of the pages, there are scribblings (done in ink) that I wish to remove.
Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro basically takes a photocopy of the page, including things I don't want (like the scribblings).
How do I scan these pages but edit out the scribblings?
Scan each page as a separate image file, a ".jpg" photo image, not a ".pdf" document. This is built-in to your scanner software.
Then, you can use your favourite photo editing application to remove the scribblings. Once done, many photo editing applications can "Save as... from a JPG to PDF format. Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro may also be able to do this.
For both apps, read the Help Files under "Save As..." or something similar.
