I have a 4th Generation iPod Nano, and the touch pad/click wheel is not working.
It happened while I was watching a video, I clicked to rewind it, and it jammed. I tried to stop it rewinding and then it decided to stick and cease to do anything else. So I turned it off, and back on again.
The main menu appears but now I can't scroll or select anything.
I have tried simultaneously clicking and holding MENU and SELECT, which switched it off and on and apparently resets it, but that doesn't work.
Does anyone know any other solutions?!?!?!
Thank you!
Thanks secretsally, I shall try that once I retrieve my iPod cable from a friend!
I connected my iPod to my computer and that hasn't worked I'm afraid!
Anything else I can do before I have to exchange it?!
If a hard reset doesn't work, maybe you should try restoring it in iTunes? If that doesn't work, then you should probably contact Apple directly. If it's less than a year old and it's not a software issue (all software issues should be fixed when you restore the ipod anyway), then they'll replace it for you. If it's older than that, you're better off just buying a new one.
Out Firewire why wont my computer recognize my video camera when it is connected via firewire?
when i plug my JVC video camera into my computer it doesnt like find that there is something connected. it used to work and i was able to get my video off the DV tapes, but for the last few months i havent been able to. I bought a new firewire card and installed it into my computer and i got a new cable. ive researched this and i believe it is because my drivers are out of date? ive tried to download several but nothing has worked.
Any ideas?
Try this:
Go into Device Manager (Control Panel / System / Hardware)
Expand the IEEE1394 Bus host controllers, right click on your device and uninstall it. If it's not there to start with, you've got a problem!
Shut down your PC.
Connect the camcorder, switch it to play and reboot your PC. You should see messages coming up as the card and then the camcorder are detected.
Tuner Pci Card TV Tuner with HDMI that is a PCI card.?
I have an older computer that I want to turn into a media center. I want it to have HDMI out and a tuner card so I can use HD Netflix on the TV and also watch tv through the computer. I have had no luck finding something like that. I don't have PCI-Express slots on the motherboard, which isn't helping the situation.
ok your not understanding a tv tuner for your pc very well all the tv tuners has is inputs not out puts that belongs to your video card and a PCI HD video card is kinda hard to find now a days since they are discontinued which means not made anymore might find one on ebay but all HD video cards now are pciE thier is only one PCI that was a HD vid card and it was a ATI-now a days both of these the tv tuner and vid cards are pciE and 2.0 its time to upgrade your computer if you want make it your media center
