am going to milan for a long weekend in july and have booked a hotel 20 km from milan central station, can anyone tell me if central station is close to the bars and clubs? i don't know anyone who's been to milan so need help!!!! any useful tips or ideas about bars and clubs to go to in milan would also be gratefully received... thanks

The railway appears to be pretty central - I cannot imagine the bars are more than a kilometre or two away.
