Plugin Pro Tools How to make a song sound as if it was a vinyl record playing? Pro Tools.?
I have made a small film and show a record player spinning a record as if it was playing it. I added a song during editing but I want it to have that distinctive vinyl sound. How can I do this in Pro Tools? Is there a plugin? All I've heard is that you mess with the lows or highs but I'm not entirely sure which one is it and how to do it.
Don't know if I confused anyone but if I did, another example of what I'm trying to achieve is say for example, a person is talking on the phone and you want the voice to sound just as if it was coming out of a telephone.
easy dubbing is to just take a sound from a record [needle only] (loop it) then mix it in with the sound of the song
How do you make voices "dark" in pro tools 8? I tried EQ but thats just taking out frequencies... Is there a plugin I can use that would work?
I'm not talking about like singing voices, but just regular speech, if someone was talking.
It really depends on what you mean by "Dark" ... if there was an audio sample for me to listen to what you were saying, then I could help you better.
Try opening an EQ and removing most of the higher frequencies. Let's say cut off around 7khz and up... Try fooling around with the frequency that you cut from, and see what sound suites you the best.
(Check out my source if you want more information on ANYTHING audio related)
Jimi Hendrix Software why is todays music just horrible?
back in the days like the 50's 60's 70's 80's and even 90's music was something to listen to now its all a bunch crack heads talking about drugs and gangs and perverted lyrics and not to mention auto tune about 65% of all the songs that come out now use auto tune or other voice enhancing software that disguises the singers voice to sound exactly perfect thats not talent thats cheating singing used to be you sound the way you are and thats that now its just stupid it seems that if you find some looser 16 year old on the street who hasnt hit puberty yet you become famous music is just going to hell now i remember all the good bands like ac/dc nirvana kiss, jimi hendrix, ice cube, tupac the beatles compare thsoe guys to our music its just embarassing
I know how you feel i'm 22 almost 23 I was a 90s kid I remember actually turning on mtv and actually watching a video. back in the 60's 70's 80's and even 90's you had to be more than just a cute face you had to have talent too. It's really sad that all those good bands/singers are gone and we are stuck with justin bieber
1/2 calm wedding sound AND 1/2 total obnoxiousness!
It beats buying them a toaster!
This is sort of what we did for our wedding:
My husband and I are both metal heads. So for our wedding, we hired one of our friends to play the wedding march with electric guitar and a wah pedal. It sounded kind of jimi hendrix-like, and it was very awesome.
Arc Plug How do I arc my wordings when I m designng a poster with photoshop?
I m using rather an old version(5.5) of photoshop for designing simple posters for my business. How do I make the wordings arc shaped and other ways? I have tweaked n tried. Cant really figure out. Or if that command is not available in tha version, is the some site whr i can get free plug in?
Once you type your word at the top check for warp text icon. A small text box with a semi circle. Or you can also use filter and warp it.

its x is greater or EQUAL to 1 and x is less than or EQUAL to 2.
please help me find arc length.
i found y' i think
y'= 5x^4/6 - 30x^2/100x^6
but then you have to plug that into the arc length formula which is:
L= integral a to b root(1+(y')^2) dx

Additional Details
the answer in the back of my book is 1261/240 ....confused!!
y = (1/6)x^5 + (1/10)x^-3
y' = (5/6)x^4 - 3/10(x^-4)
After some simplification, sqrt(1 + (y')^2) = (1/30)*(25x^8 + 9)/x^4
