Connect Mic to Computer?
I have two computers a dell inspiron 9100 and a satellite toshiba. I have an at2020 microphone and a tube ultragain mic200 preamp. I also have a u-control uca202 audio interface. With all of the items I have mentioned how do I connect my microphone to my computer? I think I have the necessary cords. Here is what I have: female xlr to male xlr(to connect from mic to preamp),female xlr to 3.5mm stereo plug(connect from preamp to computer) but that doesnt work. Any help on a certain cord or other equipment I need that is necessary to connect my mic to my computer would be greatly appreciated. Here is pictures of my mic,preamp,audio interface, and computer. Just plug the thingy into the other thingy.

Best Home Speakers You've Ever Owned?
What was it about them that made them your favorite? Do you still have them, and if not, what did you replace them with?
My favorite was a pair of Merlin TSM-M minimonitors in an exquisite "ruby heart" (i.e. candy apple red) high-gloss finish atop a pair of Osiris speaker stands filled with sand. Clarity and imaging were absolutely breathtaking! They were driven by a Clayton Audio S40 pure class A solid state stereo power amp, Conrad-Johnson PV-10 tube preamp, and a Sony CDP-XA7ES CD player. I also used a pair of KR Audio (then KR Enterprise) VT-9000 hybrid tubed monoblocks. I replaced the TSM's with a pair of Silverline Sonatina floor speakers in a bird's eye maple. Also great sounding speakers. Very smooth and silky from top to bottom.
My audio setup now has a pair of Paradigm Reference (Studio 100) speakers and I have been extremely happy with them - I've had them for a year and a half and they look like keepers. (I've been through at least 10 speakers in as many years!)l. They are fed by a Rotel CD player, a Counterpoint SA-5000 Vacuum Tube pre-amp and a Bryston Power Amp. I have yet to come across a better imaging and soundstage in a pair of speakers in my environment.
For my Home Theater, I have a pair of Klipsch La Scala for the front, Klipsch Heresy for the Center and Klipsch dipolars for surrounds. Sub duties are performed by a REL. The fronts are fed by a Rotel two channel power amp, the center and surrounds by a Rotel 5.1 power amp, behind which sits a Rotel 7.1 Pre-processor.
The La Scala and the Heresy are an incredible choice for Home Theater. They are highly efficient, fast and responsive. Vocals are phenomenal and the fronts handle big sound better than some movie theaters I have been to. At times, I do use the setup for listening to some jazz, but other than that, this is a dedicated home theater (with an 11' screen and projector)
