Orchestra Software Sound Music studio set up advice?
Hello,
Thanks in advance for reading. I would like some advice from some folks who are perhaps in recording/producing music at home.
Currently all I have is an acoustic guitar. I was going to get a Boss BR 600 recorder. Has built in mics, drum machine, and all kinds of neat features.
Any advice regarding a set up? I would like to find some software I could record and control virtual instruments, particularly string/orchestra arrangements, with my keyboard. Also, any recommendations for programs that I could produce electronic type music with, using a midi keyboard? (NIN, Vast, Depeche Mode, Moby, Enigma, etc. are some sounds I'd like to similarly

To start, I will just be doing acoustic recordings with the guitar and the recorder, but any advice is helpful!
