My imac g4 flat panel is fuckin up for some reason?
hi i have an imac g4 flat panel running leopard 5.4 on a 1.25 ghz processor with upgraded user ram and factory ram (1gb in total).
Now i opened the computer up to get to the factory ram plate so i guess that the warrenty is pretty much voided and I HAD TO reapply thermal grease.
I close the shit back up and install a ram on the user plate and screw everything together.
The shit works for 3 days after I install protools le 7.4. my mbox doesn't work and the green light keeps blinking, I install native instruments reaktor 5 software and the thing just shows all these white text in black outlining and then i get a kernal error. Now im just gettin messages that tell me to restart my computer on some real shit im really tired i need an answer before i throw this god forsaken machine out the godamn window PLEASE help a brotha
Umm... well, it could be the graphics card, or a screen defect. Try calling apple. My iMac too, had the problem, they had to replace the Graphics Card. Hope I helped.
