Rhythm Boss What's the best order for these pedals?
I own a electro harmonix metal muff, Boss digital delay, Boss tuner, Dunlop wah pedal, Boss noise suppressor, and bbe sonic maximizer. My amp has an effects loop as well. I play metal and split leads and rhythm with my co-guitarist so i boost and for the most part delay solos, and usually just delay lead parts. If it helps at all my amp is a Genz Benz El Diablo 100 and guitar is a Schecter C-1 Hellraiser. To repeat the question I need to find the "Correct" order for these effects, because I'm having problems with the noise suppressor cutting my delay short and i dont know whether to wah or delay first.
Ok here we go...
Alternative 1.
tuner --> metal muff --> wah pedal --> sonic maximizer --> noise supressor --> delay
Alternative 2.
tuner --> wah pedal --> metal muff --> sonic maximizer --> noise supressor --> delay
The noise supressor is before the delay because the delay shouldn't make any noise and if the noise suppressor was after the delay it would also suppress the last echoes.
You can put it in the effects loop too, and you may then take out the muff and use it before the amp, try which sounds best.
