Plug Factory Sealed on a 2003 cavalier with the 2.2 eng. is the transmission sealed or can u have it emtyed and the fluid refilled?
i know that there is no transmission dipstick, but i have not found the drain plug on the transmission, i know it is set up to last 100k miles on the factory fluid, But i have hit that and need to know if i can refill it or if ill have to drive it till the transmission goes out one day and get a new one cause there sealed?
the fluid level should be ok unless you see a leak,the only way to
check this veh is with it in the air,eng running.you will see a small
plug on the rt side of trans case,this will be removed and if trans fluid
drips out the level is ok,if not top fluid level with red cap on top driver
side area of trans when hood is opened looking down.I would recommend having a fluid/filter change every 80k,dropping the pan
and draining.
