Mobilepre Usb Preamp Volume problem with my audio - Technica Condenser mic?
I bought an Audio-Technica condenser microphone about 2 months ago, and lately it's been having volume problems. Even if I turn the gain on my preamp (M-Audio MobilePre USB) all the way up, The volume on the recording is really really low. The program I record with is Sonar 6 LE.
Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to fix it, or should I just replace them?

Condenser microphone are very fragile devices. If it took any impact it's possible the element was damaged. Dependent on the cost of the unit it may be worth pursuing repair. Any chance or warranty? It's also possible the trouble is not in the microphone itself. Try to get you hands on another unit to test with.
