Emagic Logic Graphic/web Designers! Should I buy this laptop?
I am a university student and I am looking for a laptop to practice my graphic/web design skills as well as desktop publishing. I'm broke so I can't afford a top of the line mac. Here is the specs on the mac I am thinking of purchasing.

I am only getting this laptop so I can get use to using a Mac since its industry standard. Thanks for your help!
You could do although you could also check out the Edu discounts for MacBooks (Intel)
If you do buy that Mac make sure you max the RAM which is 2GB I think as you will be needing it for Photoshop.
Once you are familiar with OS X I doubt that you will be wanting to return to Windows unless it is via Bootcamp.
Welcome to Mac
Give yourself about 1 month to get fully familiar with the OS and Mac user habits. Virtually everything you so on the PC has a Mac equivalent that is quicker or better and usually easier once you know what it is.
