Recently I have been using a program called CUBASE to record songs for my band. The only problem is that there is a lot of lag between the time I hit notes on my guitar or sing into the mic and when it comes through in the program. So when i play it back all the tracks come in at different times rather than together like they should. So i was wondering if a better sound card would work the same way a better video card would in that the better sound card would get rid of the lag like a better video card would get rid of lag in a game.
