I have 2 12" Pheonix Gold Octane R subs and a JL Audio 500/5 amp... when i was slappin my music and then i made a right turn, the subs went out! the door speakers are still playin but just the subs are out.. its not makin a noise at all but the amp is still on..i havent taken the subs out to check the wiring inside yet but im sure its fine..could it be the wiring inside the sub that connects to the + and - ? if so, is there a way i can fix this?
a couple of the tinsel leads are separeated or really loose from the sub + and - terminal
I would check the wiring from the sub to the amp. This happened to me before and the wiring jus came loose from even though it looked plugged in. I would defenitly up that amp to a 2 channel or a mono block a 5 channel amp for 2 subs aint really that good

Please Help me on my HOME AUDIO System w/ Car Woofers?
Hi i have a JVC 340 watt A/V Receiver in "MY ROOM" and I have it paired with
1 12"inch Octane 250 Watt RMS / 500 Watt Peak and a 15"inch JL audio that runs at 300 RMS / 750 Peak. Theyre both in Home Audio Boxes with the two tweeters. My Problem is that i have them connected correctly and they dont throw out nice decent bass to the center of my room. You only hear the bass around the corners in my room and towards the door which is right next to it.
Now these speakers throw off some freakin crazy bass for that little Home receiver i have. These speakers make my whole house rattle and cracked both windows in my room but i cant enjoy it to the max because im always near the center of my room when listening to music and thats where the bass dissapears. But if i move to a corner that Sh|t bangs my chest out. My room is a Medium Sized room and has plently of space.. The only thing is that i have a king sized bed in my room
Any answers to why i might be having this problem?
Try facing the woofers into the corners of the room, it will create a "amplitheater" type effect and help broadcast the bass off the walls and distribute it throughout the room. Before I got a car when I was about 16 I had two 18" Rockford Punch Pros in my room and they broadcasted bass best when pointing into the corners of the room. The downside is your mids&highs would sound best aimed toward you.
You may also want to check the polarity of your woofers, if one of them is not firing in the same direction as the other they will just cancel each other out. Try switching the +&- speaker wires on one of the woofers and see if the bass improves, when the woofers are in sync the bass will increase when you connect the second woofer. If the bass decreases when you connect the second woofer one of them is out of phase.
