Blue Screen of Death windows Vista help?

hello everyone i have windows vista on my laptop and when my friend gave me ableton i installed it when i was waiting for it to install i started going into facebook and opening windows from my computer suddenly a blue screen comes on i got scared so i shut it off then my windows vista is normal again i just want to know is my laptop okay for now cuz nothing is happening right now someone please tell me if i am alright with the laptop.

The easiest and fastest way to solve this problem is to run a registry cleaner software. A registry cleaner can eliminate errors in your record. This record stores all information about the software, drivers, applications and games that are installed on your computer. And in time, it can get bad, because some obsolete entries are not deleted and can lead to what they call the "blue screen of death."By using a registry cleaner http://make-a-computer-run-better.com the blue screen error can be eradicated and increases the speed of your computer in the process. In addition, the blue screen of death will not happen if you regularly check and care for your computer system.

Anyone struggling with this, be sure to check out this site:

I'm on Linux Mint 8 (ubuntu), and running Live 8.1 using WINE. Getting Ableton to install and run was easy enough, it did that out of the box, and recognized my Oxygen8 to boot! However, low latency was achieved by using JACK with wineasio, and ALSA for MIDI. Read the comments in the link I provided, if you get stuck on something. Most things are covered.

P.S.- I second the sentiment of a big EFF-YOU to all the rude, ignorant fools on the Ableton forums. Linux is legitimate as an end-user, desktop solution. Even moreso now that I've learned there is ASIO support. Next up, I might see how Photoshop runs! ;)
